im curious why does every one here play NS?

So my forum account doesn't die. :p

I play mostly for the forum, I like to hear intelligent discussion and the free exchange of ideas, something you rarely see in a High School.

I played it for a week and then starting visiting this forum. Now I just use the forum and never play the actual game.

I haven't played nationstates in ages. I'm not sure when the last time I answered an issue was but I have them turned off for a long time.

The fantastic visual effects and graphics. :)

Why play NationStates?

Because it is there. Why else?

For the forum. I go in once a week and dismiss all the issues.

So I can run my own country and of course use the forums.

So that I can increase the population of my nation and mainly to read the nsg forum.

Because it's a real fun game, I love writing, and I love military stuff...Plus the people are cool.

I like this forum. It's a lot more civilised than any other forums I've been on. And most people at least make an effort to use correct grammar and spelling.

For the inevitable, penis-size comparison that ocassionally comes to the general forum. I currently have 7.8 billion people in my country of desert as far as the I can see. A pinacle of sustainability if I do say so myself.

well none of the options in the poll apply. i joined this place looking for, and still am, someplace to sim/rollplay the kind of world i would rather be living in. and that is NOT one in a constant state of war, armed robbery, or worshipping little green pieces of paper, but of building and maintaining envornmentaly compatable and harmonious infrastructure with the minimum of intrusion and disruption of anything else.

not that this has proven the most suitable place immaginable for doing so. but i still lack broadband for one thing. and have yet to find the kind of place on line i was looking for when i stumbled, several years ago now, on this one.

Mainly for the forum. But I only started slacking on doing issues very recently. I like my nation even if it always gets sucky ratings thanks to the overachieving neighbors in the region... But that's why I keep my puppet in a region of underachievers. :p

Most people love power, since real power is so difficult to reach, i guess this game gives them something that might feel like that.

I've been playing since late 2001 i think so have bulit a nation with a population of 8.903 billion so i've just sort of kept going. only takes 2 minutes a day to keep alive and i'm online daily so i come on here
