So for you Americans out there, or foreigners interested in what may be the best part of the NBA: All-Star Weekend, taking place in Las Vegas this year, I have a question to pose. Where are the real All-Stars in the Dunk Contest?
Every year the Dunk Contest amazes me with its creativity and athleticism, and yet lately it's been making me want more. Where are the Michael Jordans, the Dr. J's, or the Vince Carters of old? Why, instead of LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony, do we get Gerald Green? Why does the Dunk Contest only showcase second-pier talent anymore?
