I need help... again.

Yeah, I've gotta stop doing this, but I need the help of the diverse community that is NSG once again.

So I'm in my school drama, and we're doing the play Get Bill Shakespeare off the Stage, if anyone has ever heard of it. Well for those of you that have, I'm playing the part of Mickey.

For those of you that haven't, he is a football player turned actor who isn't that good. He serves absolutely no function in the story other than to keep it lighthearted. He's laid back and fun-loving. He teases the girls in the play, playfully tackles two of them, etc.

Anyway, I need to find a song that is essentially his anthem, or as my director puts it, is "the beat of his heart."

I have no idea where to start looking.

My first thought is to ask LG. This Mickey sounds a lot like him.

In fact, LG should sue whoever wrote this play.

sorry......it's just what came to mind first, but probably because I associate it with the show.....he wanted to be a super hero, but he just couldn't work that damn suit.

i'd start with google.

I got about three results for the play itself.

thats a good choice and its quite singable if that is required.

Yeah, but he thinks he's a damn good actor. He just isn't.

if I remember Mickey correctly he was very enthusiastic about acting, he just really sucked at it......so I thought that song was good, although most highschoolers probably don't know about the show, so it may not be a great choice.

Yeah, but he thinks he's a damn good actor. He just isn't.

but if you read the lyrics of the song....it would be like he thought he was awesome, and was excited about it. ;)
