I got a cable connection a few months ago and I have trouble accessing any kind of email account. Both my Hotmail and Gmail accounts won't let me log in, and by extension, my Fanfiction.Net and Youtube accounts. If any NSer can, I would greatly appreciate the help.

did they install any s/w on your pc to get the cable internet working?

since you didn't go into too miuch detail, really hard to pinpoint the problem.

However, what most likely occurred is that they installed software that included some form of popup/script/cookie blocker that has changed your Internet Explorer settings...

Sounds like a browser problem, we have had IE flake in the past and not be able to handle the ssl portion of https (which log in style systems usualy use, so email and account verification)

First thing to try is another browser, if you use IE try firefox, if firefox try opera and see if that fixes it

I use Firefox, but I'll try Opera.
