what are ur thoughts about it?

i believe extremely small countries,smaller then cyprus should be allowed to do so and the rest of the countries made to sign the ban treaty.

How are tiny countires going to afford the man power the equipment etc , who's going to enforce it? who's going to stop the world powers just saying screw you i don't care. And what would tiny countrie's due with space weapons anyway? Defend themselfs from from space priates?

North Korea is a small country and it would not be a good idea to give it the go-ahead to arm itself further, although i doubt it has the resources to do so. If there is a ban it should ban all countries. In my opinion however the militarisaion of space should not happen for a good time yet as the huge costs of putting nuclear missiles or associated weapons on a space station is useless when you consider they are just as effective on the ground

There are much better things to do with space than militarise it. Trying to channel expansionist tendencies into asteroid mining (will be very lucrative once it becomes cost-feasible) and exploration would be much better and have just the same opportunity for heroics.

Small countries dont have much land or sea,which limits them to a small terrestial and naval defence force.I you do not have much land or sea,definitely you will not have much of a sky,so an aerial defenc force is not a good option too.

So?Small countries does not mean they are underveloped or d o not have money or manpowers.Singapore has both.

Stopping world powers?Read the paper,watch the news.Look at what the other 3 world powers are up to.

Countries can protect themselves by using satelites to zap off enemies enetering the brder when it gets out of control.
Defend themselves from not space pirates,but space spies.The US have been sending many military satelites to spy on other countries.

You obvious you did not read my first post.I said countries smaller than Cyprus.North Korea is much larger.
