Obviously you Americans must lobby your poor, hungry congressman to vote for more money on their salaries so that the poor devils can pay for a decent meal. In fact, give them all $200,000 each. That way their pay is in line with their fellow "professionals" like doctors, just like our MP's in Westminster want.
Note: I am being sarcastic. Our MP's are paid enough as it is. They are essentially civil servants to the people and not "professionals", as some of them would like to be thought as.
