Favorite Sports Anthems Heard in Stadiums

I'm in a very big baseball mood today with pitchers and catchers reporting at Tuscon today so I figured I'd ask what your favorite songs you hear at the ballpark are. I don't care which sport it is, just post your favorite song that is a staple in ballparks.

Mine is the Steam hit song "Na Na Hey Hey Goodbye." It is a song that is heard at almost every stadium today. The tradition of playing that song actually originally began with my beloved White Sox in 1977, the summer of the Southside Hitmen.

During a crucial series against the Royals, organist Nancy Faust began playing the song when a KC pitcher got yanked after being shelled by Oscar Gamble and Co. She played the song and the stadium sung along with it. Ever since that moment, the song has been played at Comiskey Parks I and II when opposing pitchers get yanked, the Sox hit a homer, or the Sox win the game. Today almost every team is doing what Sox fans have been doing for 3 decades.

Oh gosh...

Well, I used to love the 7th inning stretch during a Mariners game where'd they play Louie Louie, but then God Bless America came in and ruined the whole thing...and the glory days of the Mariners (Johnson, Buhner, Cora, Griffey, Jr. and A-Rod before he became a traitor) and they would play theme songs when each batter came to the plate. Don't know if they still do that, haven't been to Safeco in a long time.

Then there's the Portland Winterhawks (hockey) playing TNT every time they score a goal...

And the Seattle Thunderbirds (also hockey) playing Rock and Roll Part 2 when they score a goal, but from what I know that's played everywhere in various sports.

*throws a fish on the ice* :D

Edit: Now I read the OP again I see it refers only to baseball. Oh well, it still stands. Sorry.

Blaydon Races (obviously I'm a newcastle supporter)

I also like the cobblers chant: C.O.dou-ble B.L.E.R.S Cobblers!

Another White Sox staple is having the team get introduced to "Thunderstruck" before each and every home game. They show an awesome 2 and a half minute video before hand. The crowd really gets into it.

That Welsh one

Land of Our Fathers.

I like Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory, our actual national anthem is a bit tame.

Eh...you could play Thunderstruck at a funeral and it would still rock the house...

Hmm...

i've always thought sports anthems were music for people who don't listen to music. and sportsmen always seem to have the worst taste in music

"Hail to California"
"Palms of Victory"
"We're Sons of California"

All Cal songs, of course.

If you mean pop tunes used in pro sports stadiums, I couldn't help ya there.
