Brother is sitting in his room listening to music, bad bad bad music. And not only can I hear it from the living room, I can also hear him singing along.

:(

What's worse? Bad music, or people sing along with it?

Neither of those are that bad..I'll tell you something way worse than either of those...being forced to watch Nancy Grace talk about Anna Nicole Smith's death.

What kind of pop-punk? The Fall Out Boy/All-American Rejects kind? Or the NOFX/Rancid/Bad Religion kind?

I loved the call she got from a viewer that said it was obviously murder.

Funny you should mention that... I read an article today that had the ratings for several news ("news") shows the days before and after Smith's death, including Nancy Grace's one. The mere image of the Graceian feeding frenzy that must have been (and probably still is) made me shiver.

Bad Religion's pretty good.

All the bands in the second category are good. They're just punk bands that are somewhat more popular/have a somewhat cleaner sound than their peers.

They don't call me Clever Pete for nothing!
Well, actually they don't call me Clever Pete at all, but if they did, then they'd be right to do so. Except that my name isn't Pete, so they'd be confusing me with someone else who also happened to be clever.

You know what you're friends are thinking when you sing Tool?

"Jesus, won't you fucking whistle?!"

Why is everyone on NSG so anti-mainstream, especially when it comes too pop-punk? Too be honest, prog rock bands, and classic rock piss me off a good deal as well. ACDC ISNT COMING OUT WITH A NEW ALBUM, BROADEN YOUR MUSICAL HORIZON. EVOLVE DAMN YOU!

With that aside, I think I need too lie down....

LOLLERCOASTER

First of all: AC/DC is currently working on a new album.
Second of all: They aren't prog rock, and few even equate them with classic rock (They sound like a hair metal band. And they have since '75. Most classic rock comes from the 60's and early 70's)

You should have just taken the easy route and said Led Zeppelin.

And you're telling listeners of progressive rock to broaden their musical horizons? You realise most people start listening to prog after the broadening of said horizons, right?

And finally, All American Rejects, Fall Out Boy, Green Day, and their copycats all suck, which is why NSG hates them.

What'd be really cool is to hear you sing out Revelation 22:20 by Puscifer.

There's humming of a sort in that one.
