Maybe I should've made it "SERIOUS" Religious Affiliation?

To rip off Mal-II:
My religion is humourous, and sometimes I take humour seriously. And other times I take seriousness humourously.

Also, fnords cause timewarps.

I think you should apologise to the Chinese language. It's not its fault that it uses the same word for religion and philosophy. In fact, I think it's one of the selling points of the language. :)

Neo-Pagan/Neo-Heathen. Also you missed out Hinduism, Jainism and Sikhism. I know there are only ten possible options but Hinduism especially should be in there, seeing as it's the third most widely followed religion on the planet.

First of all not all Hindus/Jains/Sikhs live in India. Also how many people on here are really likely to be actual Taoists or Confucianists?

But you said Hinduism, Jainism and Sikhism, all of which are concentrated in India. Yes I realize not ALL Hindus, Janis and Sikhs live in India, but the majority do.

what i currently believe in does not involve "affiliation".
this is however one way of defining agnosticism.
so i that is what i clicked.
i HAVE been a baha'i.
other baha'is will probably always consider me one, as i am unlike to ever claim a reveltion direct from god or that it would be my rightful place to usurp the universal house of justice.
but my observations of life in general of led me to the conclusion that nothing needs to be infallable and that no one would be any worse off if no one had ever come up with the idea that anything needs to be.

and since most beliefs, not just the monotheistic sequence of kemit, judaism, christianity, islam, baha'i, posit such a need and existence, i am more or less self excluded from at least that aspect of them.

while still aggreeing with nearly all on the possible, even probable existence, of one or more big, friendly and nontangable "god(s)".

i also don't see all nontangable awairness as all having to be greater then ourselves either, and i damd sure don't find the concept of moral polarization of anything awair of its own existence compelling at all.

thus i AM rather fond of daoism, shinto, indiginous tradions, and even most aspects of most forms of buddhism. along with being nice to the little spirit that lives down by the creek, (up in the mountains, deep in the forrest, and so on), and the one that curles up on top of my covers when i go to bed.

which is also similar to a belief that may have been the most common on another tangable world then this one that i feel most likely to have lived on in several of my previous lives.

to which i refer as the nalanuthu of lananara.

nalanuthu, incidently, in the lananaran universal language translates as "way/path in the mountains". again relating/paralleling, to shinto, tao, and indiginous traditions.

Yes. Because, no offense to the Indian's, but since the majority of Hindus, Jains, and Sikhs are in India, and since the majority of Indians don't have computers, let alone internet access, I doubt that there'd be many Indians on here, and therefore few Hindus, Jains or Sikhs. There will certainly be a few Indians, and a few Hindus, Jains or Sikhs, but I still think that Taoism and Confucianism would outweigh them. The two previously stated have a much more international appeal than the three previous stated.

Well, concerning the facts that A. There are more Jews than Jains, B. This is supposed to be a census of NSG users, and therefore we can only count those people who have computers and internet access. Because the majority of Jews are (more) privileged than Indians, and therefore Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains, that means that more of them have a computer and internet access than Indians, and, of course, therefore Hindus, Sikhs, and Jains.

Yet you put Buddist...because monks have computers? And Ba'hai, even though it's a relatively small sect compared to the BILLION Hindus in the world? God you're an idiot.

Edit: you do realize that even if the poverty percentages for Jews and Indians were skewed in favor of Jews, it would mean that there were would still be more Hindu Doctors, Lawyers, Businessmen, and pretty much every other high-paying field than Jews, based solely on sheer numbers?
