Ex-leader of the UK Independence party, the party for xenophobes and fuckwits, kicked out for generally excessive fuckwittery, has accused Marks & Spencers department store chain of tricking women into thinking they're thin! I'm just wondering what this guy is on. what on earth goes on in that head of his!?

anyway it made me giggle, thought i'd share this breaking news of a national corporate conspiracy to cover up obesity in women.

Is Kilroy actually trying to get a room in a psychiatric unit?

I do object to UKIP being portrayed as idiotic, but thats another issue that I'm too tired to care about.

Is that where he's been? Conducting an in depth survey of women's fitting rooms in M&S? Well, at least it keeps him off the TV.

I agree - they don't need anyone's help with that.

Our local UKIP leader has a motorbike, decorated all over with Union Jacks. It's a Harley Davidson.
What a muppet. If he wants to ride a crap motorbike, he should at least get a crap British motorbike, and save himself about 5 grand. There's still plenty of Royal Enfields spluttering around - one of those would do fine.

Under the Directive, a commercial practice will be considered unfair if it is contrary to the requirements of professional diligence and if it materially distorts the economic behaviour of the average member of the group of consumers to whom the practice is addressed.Wouldn't that ban virtually every marketing practice ever?

Anyway, what was Kilroy-Silk doing trying on dresses in Marks and Sparks?

Thank You for the laugh. I agree, If you want to paste the Union Jack all over your bike, buy a damn British bike. Ther are plenty out there, and not all of them are crappy. They are less expensive than H-Ds as you pointed out.

BTW H-Ds aren't crap either, just over-priced.

For sure, but judging by the Christmas cracker on wheels that he calls a motorbike, I can only conclude that he has a preference for really bad bikes.

I gather from a friend who went to the States last year that in the US it is possible to ride a Harley and actually be taken seriously. In the UK, however, it is not.
Let's agree to disagree - it's probably one of those cultural differences, and they're what makes foreign travel interesting.
