Capital ships - I really like the Mon Calamari Cruisers, that organic design is really neat.

As for Imperials - the "standard" Star Destroyer is great, really like the Super Star Destroyer, too.

hmmm, there are loads of SW ships I love. It's a contest really, between Darth Malaks Leviathan, Darth Nihilus' Ravager, or General Grievous' Invisible Hand.

That said, the entire CIS lineup appeals to me... Munificent, Providence, Lucrehulk and Recusant.

When all's said and done though, the massive firepower an Imperator-II Star Destroyer can kick out really does rock. I want the ability to order a base delta zero on someone.

On Utapau, Grievous attempts to escape in the fighter when Republic forces attack, but Obi-Wan kills him before he can get away.

Old Ben nicks the fighter and uses its communications system to transmit an emergency code to combat Order 66, then travels in it to meet up with Bail Organa.

IIRC, Obi-Wan says something like, “Oooh, hello. Nice ship”, when he initially spies the craft after the death of Grievous.

And the engine shares that great bassy thugthugthugwvmmmmmmmmmmmm sound with the Jedi Starfighter.

Yeah, two series so far, though I think there is more planned.

They’re set between Episode’s II and III, and deal with the eponymous Clone Wars; the massive war between the clone armies of the Republic, commanded by the Jedi and Senator Palpatine, on one side, and the droid armies of the Sepratist movement, commanded by General Grievous and Darth Sidious, on the other.

The show highlights Anakin’s progression from padawan to Jedi Knight, Senator Palpatine’s growing power, the reluctant use of clone armies by the Jedi Council, and the rise of General Grievous.

The animation is great and manages to keep the spirit of the SW universe intact; expanding it even. As it’s animation, the full power of the Jedi is shown off, with some of the most amazing demonstrations of the power of the Force in the history of SW; especially from Yoda.

The crack squads of clone troopers are shown off too, and again because of the relative cheapness of traditional animation vs. CGI, the show offers spectacular action sequences that rival the best of the films’.

Basically if you like SW, you’ll love Clone Wars.

What's more exciting is that Lucas has detailed plans for a live-action TV series focusing on the adventures of everyone's favourite Bounty Hunter scum, Boba Fett.
