Didn't the lebanese gov't learn anything from the death that Israel bestowed upon their populace over the summer? Well evidently some lebanese troops opened fire on IDF troops, who were operating in their own territory, looking for bombs that Hizbullah had planted in northern Israeli towns. Do they(lebanese) want to try and make more suffering? Why would they fire on the Israelis? God people, think things through before you start doing stupid shit.

All the countries over there are co-dependent. Can you image if they began getting along? No one would give them aid or time on TV or the time of day. They'd all slip back into the third-rate status they deserve and the rest of us would have some peace and quiet for a while.

I don't think it's likely to come to anything; the reason the war blew up so quickly last time was because Israel and Hezbollah had been looking for an excuse to fight for ages. Israel doesn't want another war in Lebanon and the government wouldn't dare act against public opinion without good reason.

Dead relatives in the 80's? Dead relatives in some raid or other,,dead relatives in the last invasion...dead relatives at the hands of the Israeli sponsored militias, sick of being walked on by the Israelis, embarrassed that Hezbollah resisted and they didn't the last time....That kind of thing...

I'm sure all those dead relatives will be immensely gratified by the arrival of their descendants, too. Continuing violence like this, on either side, Israeli or Arab, is what oppresses those people. And it's been tried for the last 60 years, and it hasn't worked all that well, has it?

Hey, just because I believe in God doesn't mean I believe that there is any real rhyme or reason to this world.

Seriously. There have been so many different military tactics and such to try and solve this problem. The only thing they haven't tried is peace.

Well God's plan doesn't make sense half the time anyways. I've learned to live according to how I feel is right. If I go against what God's plan is...Oh well. That's the free will he granted me. So he can only blame himself for me not living according to "his plan".
