What do you mean "computer's name" ?

If you right click on "My Computer" and go to Computer Name tab you should see some options to change the name and description.

I have no idea about "andy"

You can re name it. I think. Right click on my computer-------click on the properties option---------------> click on computer name tab-----> rename---> apply--->Ok-------> have sex with me...

and that should be it..unless you mean something completly diffent, in which you change steps 1-6 to fit your need, but keep step 7, as its necessary for solving any problem

..to change a computer's name?Yes. Rightclick "My Computer", choose "Properties" click on the tab called "Computer Name" and type a new name. You know.. that folder.. on the C drive.. ?So it's not your computer you wish to rename?

Well, if the folder's in use, you can't rename it. If it's a system folder, you can't rename it while your OS is running, because shockingly, the OS is using stuff inside it.
If it's not a system folder, hit Alt+Ctrl+Del, switch to the "processes" tab & disable whatever's using stuff in the folder you want to rename. When you're done, simply close the taskmanager, rightclick the folder you want to rename, and click "rename" from the context menu.
If it is a system folder, you'll need to boot the machine with another OS. Since you're asking, it's probably too complicated to be worth the bother, so I'd suggest simply asking whoever renamed the folder to change the name again. Can you change the name?Yes, but only to "Vague, because making things easy's for suckers".
