Seriously, anyone notice how a lot of bands are reuniting this year? Already, Van Halen, The Police, Genesis, and The Smashing Pumpkins are reuniting. Personally, I'm going to see the Pumpkins.

Now let's all pray for a full on Pink Floyd reunion!

Syd Barrett propped up with a stick?

Maybe... it's what the Rolling Stones are doing with Keith Richards.

The Beatles Reunion Tour!

Complete with Undead John Lennon (complete with juices seeping from the bullet hole, imagine it now!), Undead George Harrison(His liver has taken on a life of its own!) and Undead Paul McCartney(if you believe those "Paul is dead" folks)!

Poor Ringo! Chased around the stage by his Undead bandmates!

Personally I find the reunion of local mid-90's punk heroes Monkhouse (http://www.myspace.com/monkhouse) much more exciting.

'Putting the anger back into Bangor' indeed.

I think,
"2007: The year devoid of ideas in music, resulting in flabby middle-aged people getting together to milk every last penny from their easily-pleased and none-too-bright audience."
is a far more apt term.

Anyone notice that when there's a war, people tend to be nostelgic? This would explain the increased interest and demand in ageing rockers who are coming to the realisation that the govt pension ain't enough to live on.

That, and the fact that music lately sucks.

That, and the fact that music lately sucks.

What's popular on the radio lately sucks, but i'm finding that there's a wealth of less famous artists to get into at the moment.

Pretty much exactly what I was thinking.

Popluar music on mainstream FM radio stations. There is plenty of good music out there, if you're willing to delve a little deeper.

Edit: Kanabia beat me to it.

Syd Barrett propped up with a stick?
I have 3 great regrets in my life.
1: Not seeing John Cleese being funny when he was here in '05
2: Not seeing Roger Waters when he was here last month.
