right now there is just my mouse, but i charge my mp3 player through the USB port too cuz i broke the D/C charger, and my printer goes into the USB thing too. there's a USB cable to connect to my modem too but it doesn't work for some reason, i have wireless now anyway.

Tremble in awe of my vast tangled web of power cables (all of this shit, plus minifridge, computer itself, alarm clock, and fantabulous logitech z5300 speaker system is daisy-chained through a series of surge-protectors to maybe 3 wall outlets. Fire is probably inevitable).

Hoo, I've got oodles. Well, maybe not oodles, but probably more than I should have. A video iPod, mouse, flash drive... actually, I think that's it. Not really that many, on second thought. And actually, that doesn't even address the question in the OP.

...

Alright, I admit it -- I just wanted an excuse to use the word "oodles". :p

I've got a PEN Drive. Essentially, the top of the pen is a USB drive holding about 150Mb. It's easy to carry around, especially good if you're in a rush and you need a writing utensil too

Uh...lessee...

Mouse...
Joystick...
Steering wheel...
Audio interface/mixer thingy...

I would have a webcam plugged in as well, except the company I bought it from is useless and didn't release 64 bit drivers...and i'm too cheap to buy a new one.

Currently, just my mouse. But I could also put in on or both of my USB sticks...and might have them in now anyway, so it is like they are in there.

I've four in the back and one in the front.

And a 4 port adapter in one of them, gives me 8 :)

I voted 0 before realising that you didn't just mean USB storage things, in which case I have five:

Keyboard
Mouse
Printer
Wireless thing
Digital camera

My printer is parallel for a simple reason: you can use these 'screws' to make sure the cable does not leave its port. Mouse and cardreader for the digicam are on the USB-ports.

I keep my wireless mouse plugged in all the time. The other port swaps between my iPod, my memory stick, my girlfriend's printer (when I need it), and my wireless mouse charger. It's a laptop, so there's really no point in having all sorts of peripherals attached all the time.

Let's see:
- Webcam
- 2 joysticks
- 1 pad
- 1 racing wheel
- 1 Nostromo N52 controller thingie
- Palm
- External hard drive
- 2 four-port hubs to have room for it all.

That's it!

Edit: I almost forget: one of those multi-card reader things.

Mouse and printer. I occasionally stick in my MP3 for charging and my iPod to put songs on.

And yes, I am aware that I have an MP3 AND an iPod. I used the MP3 for radio. That's why I'll get a Zune :D
