Yes that is right you can earn 10k for showing that humans are not the cause for global warming. Exxon was kind enough for putting up the cash prize.

Any takers?

This is as bad as when those nitwits like Kent Hovind offer cash prizes to debunk evolution...it wastes time, money, and distracts people from a very real threat to our economy and way of life.

How bout if I freeze the executives who thought of this in a giant ice cube and dump it in Antartica. If they die, I get moneys. If they don't die, global warming has been reversed.

Crud "science" FTW...or not.

Stop clogging the tubes! I've been trying to send an internet for a week!

Can't prove a negative. That's what it appears like they are trying to do. {If not, I apologise. I'm tired, angry and can't sleep.}

It's a disproof rather than proving a negative, really. Entirely possible, but unlikely given the evidence for the human impact on the phenomenon.

Besides, $10,000? You must be joking. This is worth millions to multinationals. They'll have to up their fee considerably before anyone considers taking up their challenge.

Speaking of Hovind ... if it were a twofer ...
Oh well.
I say interested persons should get Exxon to up their ante a smidge ...:

Ayup. And to think, they still aren't finished with the Valdez settlements. They AGAIN are holding up the courts and asking for reconsiderations.

Nothing wrong with that. Trying to disprove an hypothesis or theory is what science is all about.
Of course, it would be nice if Hovind was just as concerned with testing his own ideas.

Actualy Exxon's stratergy is less damaging than some others.

In face of mouting scientific reserch Exxon's claims seem more and more rediculous.

companies like BP however are hidding their eco-un-friendly activities behind a green wash of biofules and carbon offsetting.
