How do they determine that anyway? I've never understood the tradition.

I don't know how they do the shadow thing, outside of just looking for any sign of a shadow at all... Do they have differing degrees of no shadow?

But why are you sad about it? You like winter and you don't want it to end quickly?

I got the shadow thing confused. I'm more than ready for this unnaturally cold winter to end.

I didn't know it was anything day.
