Hey, I know a way that the PC beats the Mac!

Sick and tired of seeing all the PC vs Mac commercials, where somehow the Mac always seems to beat the crap out of the PC, even though you absolutely KNOW it owns the Mac from one side of the map to the other? So am I.

http://mvpc.ytmnd.com/

It's a fact. The Mac CANNOT play any good games WHAT SO EVER.

The PC will own the Mac completely and utterly until the Mac finally has the abiltiy to play GOOD games.

I have a Playstation 2 for games. I use my Mac for work, and no one bothers to write viruses for it.

Who needs boot camp when you have the software right for you. Though I do pity the Mackies have to buy a new comp everytime they upgrade the hardware. :)

Kind of reminds me of a quote on bash.org

It went something like:

"Name one thing that your PC can do that my Mac can't!"

"Right-click."

Umm, if you use a two button mouse, you can right click. I do it all the time.

This was my favorite section of the article:
We mention this not to disparage McAfee's security researchers but to point out the security firm has a clear commercial interest in validating the need for its software. In fairness, McAfee makes some important caveats. For one thing it states that Apple only "appears to be in the earlier stages of malware evolution" and doesn't exaggerate the impact of recently discovered proof-of-concept viruses such as Mac OS X Leap.

However, it goes on to say: "Although the number of OS X-targeted viruses has been relatively low in total volume since January 2004, McAfee Avert Labs predicts that the growing number of Macintosh vulnerabilities will attract more and more talented hackers over the course of the next year and beyond".

It doesn't detail any evidence for this piece of crystal-ball glazing. McAfee is also on shaky ground when it says the availability of exploit code on the internet will make the Mac an "open target for malware".
I'm not saying that using a Mac gives me, as the article put it, a magic invisibility cloak from malware, but only being 5% of the market does have its advantages.

I'm not, because those ads actually make me want to use a PC over a Mac.

Everything the Mac claims are so easy to do just tells me that the functions are insufficienty customisable.

PC's might be harder to use, but they're far more powerful tools. And that's really what matters.

I would argue that consoles are even worse for gaming than Macs are.

What part of BOOT CAMP do you not understand?

The part where it lacks driver support. How great, I can play Windows Solitaire on my way-overpriced Mac, if only I could play some Battlefield 2.

No amount of boot camp can play Crysis.
