I don't understand why Penny-Arcade, PvP Online, Ctrl-alt-del Online, VGCats, and 8-bit Theatre arn't on there. And the too rarely updated Guild Wars comic The Gear Trick is funny, even if you don't play Guild Wars, mainly because the jokes exist in their entirety instead of an inside joke punchline. (except for the first comic, I didn't even get it).

I'm surprised nobody has said anything about:

The Perry Bible Fellowship (http://www.pbfcomics.com)

I didn't include them because they are already so well known, while these ones I posted are ones I think are awesome, but haven't gotten enough attention.

I especially like:

Dr. McNinja (http://www.drmcninja.com)

Really cool (and crazy) stories, and excellent artwork.

PA sucks, PVP is almost as bad, CAD is overrated. VG Cats however is absolute gold. 8-bit theater is a crappy sprite comic.

Dominic Deegan and Squidi.net are priceless comics that I really enjoy. MacHall was great til they ended it.

My friend has a couple online comics:

Just A Bit Off: http://jeffzugale.com/justabitoff/

Mystic For Hire: http://www.pagancity.com/

He was aslo one of the team who did Kindergoth: http://www.bloodfire.com/products/comics/kindergoth/ (which is an actual comic, not a web comic. I thought I would mention it though.)

here are some of the online web comics he links to so either he likes them or knows the people producing them:

I don't really know of too many webcomics, but I do like Piled Higher and Deeper (http://www.phdcomics.com/comics.php) online. So do all my friends in grad school. ;)

The only one I read is MegaTokyo (yeah, I know I'm asking for a flame-fest)
The Tribes Of Longton

Cyanide&Happiness and The Perry Bible Fellowship are well worth a perusal. CAD's a bit shit tbh, and the only other comic I've read was about a zombie hockey player (bit odd, but I read it all in one go so meh).

Oh, and the Half Life and Death of Gordon Frohman. Enjoyed that thoroughly FNAR.

I've been reading a lot of webcomics ever since I got that "Mouse Gestures" extension for Firefox. I just bookmark the front pages of all my faves, put 'em all in a folder. Then, whenever I want to read them, I just middle click the folder and they all open in separate tabs. It's like opening a virtual comics section! :)

Lessee what's in there now...

Penny Arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic)
Sinfest (http://www.sinfest.net/)
Perry Bible Fellowship (http://www.pbfcomics.com/)
Dinosaur Comics (http://www.qwantz.com/)
Animals Have Problems Too (http://www.animalshaveproblemstoo.com/index.php)
xkcd (http://xkcd.com/)
Morsel Disruption (http://www.morseldisruption.com/Archive.html)
I Drew This (http://www.idrewthis.org/index.html)
Sticks and Stones (http://www.sticksandstonescomic.com/index.html)

I especially recommend PA, Sinfest, Dinosaur Comics, and xkcd.

Something Positive is awesome. Where else can you get jokes about sex, death, suicide, politics, and roleplaying games in one place?

I draw a comic when I'm bored. It's not paticularly well drawn, but it is horrifyingly violent. And one of the main characters is Jack the Ripper.

Scary Go Round (www.scarygoround.com) is awesome. I met John Allison (the author), and he inspired me to comick.
