How Tired Are You?

I'm usually pretty tired. Even when I'm not doing anything I tend to muck around with my sleeping and end up only taking several naps rather than sleeping on a whole like I should. Which is not to say I don't have nice long sleeps, but a lot of the time I don't because I have to work crazy long hours or any number of other things.
So when I'm here, I'm often tired. But the question is, how tired?
Once it's up, take the poll. Until it's up, I don't know...bitch about there not being a pole or make comments like "I'm too tired to vote on a poll" or etc.

Gotta keep her off the pole!
So, where is this "pole" and how do I vote?;)
I haven't slept in six months and I'm still not tired! Maybe I really am addicted to acid...

Clicking on one of the new options and then slapping your forehead against the mouse and "submit" as you fall asleep at your desk.
I should add that the poll is not the be all, you can state other tiredness or explain why yours is so much more well earned than say, mine. Or share stories of things you've done while tired. Anything to make this thread have a point other than me bitching about how tired I am.
I was so tired once while driving that I was in the fast lane, heard a truck honk and discovered I was on the shoulder-passed out and drifted across the road. Truck driver saved my life (I was bookin' it in a flimsy car) This is why I always let them merge no matter what.

"Spoke a response to a thread and then tried hitting 'submit post'"
Heee. :p
Not happend so far, but just the other day I had my first real life "lol" incident. >.< Talk about pathetic.
Also, I'm always tired. My sleep patterns are ridiculously out of whack and even if I'm dead tired I will still stay up past any reasonable point. Just because.
Today I'm tired because I just finished working on a conference for three days for which I had to get up at 6am, which is closer to when I usually go to bed. And I have a cold. *sniffle* :(

Heh. :p I've always been able to sleep anywhere, even as a kid. I fell asleep in school on a few occasions. Needless to say that did not endear me to the teachers...

I used to fall asleep before big events, like right before a race I'd fall asleep in the seat and my dad would have to tap me on the helmet before the race. At band competitions I would fall asleep in the warm up room-which would provide wise ass trombone players with some momentary fun.

I've totally done that. I've woken up after sleeping and gone,
"Seriously? 12 hours?
Fuck.
...
...
Fuck it, I'm going back to sleep."

My state of tiredness does not seem to correlate to how much sleep I have. Even taking into account of the effect of when you wake up in your sleep cycle, I almost always feel tired, it seems more like a mental state than a physical one.

Pretty tired. Stayed up past one watching the Breakfast Club, and got up early to study for my exams. I don't know how long it's been since I actually got more than six or seven hours of sleep (some nights, I get five).

I only get tired when I've been awake for too long (about 14 hours), or when I'm completely bored.
I'll have to say that those are two very different kinds of tiredness, though.

I fell asleep in an MRI one time--the people woke me up because I was snoring really loudly.

Poles are sexy, unlike the Germans.
I am, however, still awake enough to use proper grammar.
edit: maybe I should go to bed. I thought someone was talking about the Big Breakfast. That show was ace, though it hasn't been on air for years. And I swear someone was talking about how they kill entired ecosystems.

Right now, I'm fucking shattered. However, that's mainly because I've been celebrating for 3 days. End of exams and birthdays coinciding ftw!
I'm pretty much always tired, but I can never sleep until a ridiculous hour. Generally I don't get tired enough to sleep until around 5am, sometimes later, and don't wake up naturally until any time between 1pm and 3pm. Absolutely ruins uni...all classes are when my body wants to be asleep (for example, a 10am class would be like a 4/5am class for most people), so I find it impossible to concentrate properly.
I'm more or less sure I have Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome, and my Psychologist sister says that I'm probably not just being a hypochondriac and that I have all the signs of it; apparently it's not treatable, so that's just fantastic

Apparently Kimi Raikkonen does something like that...before his first F1 race he had to be woken by his mechanics and reminded he had 20 minutes to get his car onto the grid, and from reading I think he does the same before every race and practice/quali session...
I'm real tired. I just started college and I spent 12 hours at the hospital earlier today because my son broke his leg after he tripped outside. :(

Oh, that's definitely me! So they call it a "Syndrome" now?
The "treatment" is easy, just quit mucking around trying to be a day creature, and sleep when your body tells you to!
Edit: Oh yeah, and take night classes. They're easier, anyway. Or maybe they just *seem* to be, due to actually being awake!

Right now?
I'm not tired. At 2:30am I decided to get everything ready for making dinner when I get home from school. You know, getting the batter ready, mixing all the dry ingredients together, getting the chicken out.. It took half an hour.
Now I'm just sitting here, covered in flour; with a nice calm tiredness. :)
Although I have to get up at six tomorrow cause of a schedule change. I got used to waking up at nine. :(
How does your schedual change so drastically? Did school use to start at 9am?!
1:30 AM here and I'm stupidly still sipping on my third Starbucks Venti today. I fear I won't be tired for many hours. Thank science I don't need to get up early tomorrow.

I am almost always tired, mostly because i come on here trying to ammuse you people(Actually myself), heck last night i got less than 4 hours sleep because i was watching the New Zealand vs Australia Cricket match.
Normally i get around 6 hours but i'd like to get that upto 6 3/4's soon.

I have slept an hour (though yesterday I got up at ~17:00, so my lack of sleep is not all that bad yet. seems I will rotate my sleeping patterns a larger step again), and am feeling somewhat tired and a bit slow. It's relatively well for such a morning, though. However, this being school, I have no opportunity to properly caffeinate myself nor eat any sugary stuff, right now. Hopefully it won't get much worse before I get home.

For a Monday morning I'm pretty chirpy, and I'm only one-third of the way through my coffee ration, too.
I tend to get tired when I'm hungry. Get really miserable, too. You wouldn't like me when I'm hungry.

Great thing about getting my degree in film: Upper division classes where all late in the day. And half of them where for screenings...of course sometimes that would lead to me getting baked and then going into a Russian impressionistic film where there is a five minute long locked off shot of a VW crossing a screen, then waiting a really long time and then it crossing again way far away-or an Iranian film that starts with a guy driving a car trying to get peoples attention for 20 minutes....
The where good films, but I wish I wasn't baked for those...too hard to stay awake.

i don't know why but i'm extremely tired. i sleep a lot (9h a day or something) but i'm still really tired. i can't concentrate at all, i'm distracted by the smallest noises (and they make me go mad, have you noticed the annoying noises laptops make?). my memory isn't what it used to be, etc. etc. etc.
