Do you ever...
....get really annoyed with something to the point where you destroy it?
I was just now trying to put a composite video -> s-video cable into my graphics card, so i could output to my TV...
However the pins on the s-video end weren't quite straight, and despite having spent the last half hour trying to get them aligned properly it still wouldn't go in.
So what did I do?
I pull the 5ft cable apart into 11 (although I think there's a bit missing) pieces.
Fantastic. Now I can't use it even if I do get the connection sorted.

You're not alone, my friend. I throw around and destroy things when I'm angry. Everybody knows that, and everybody distance themselves away from me when I'm thoroughly pissed off lest they might get hit by flying projectiles.

no, if i get to that point i usually walk away, usually before i get to that point. people sometimes get me angry enough to want to destroy things though, although i'd have to be pretty drunk to actually do any destroying of person or property.

Oh, don't worry, I shattered a PlayStation 2 controller within a week of getting the console. Breaking a joystick is nothing ;)

On the rear right corner of my bus is what's called 'the dent of shame,' placed there by my palm after I replaced the fuel pump with a Type I pump instead of a Type II pump. Apparently, one of the only differences between a Type II and a Type I is the pump.
yes if i get really annoyed at somthing for not doing what it should and i know i cant get a refund i'l destroy it beyond reconition, this includes people!:sniper:

If it's something that's very cheap (and I wouldn't want to replace it anyway), then yes, I will smash the hell out of it if I become sufficiently frustrated.
If it's something expensive (or anything that I don't want to break), I'll just grab my aluminum bat and go beat the living shit out of one of my trees... If I'm frustrated enough. And that happens very rarely.

what's great is that it even works with non-physical entities. like relationships and careers.

No. I use the whole "get up, pace backwards and forwards for a while shouting expletives in my head until blood pressure lowers" thing, granted it won't work for everyone...

Yeah, my ex-girlfriend was very capable of getting me to destroy some of my stuff... Just got me to the breaking point once though then I shipped her out. Been Single ever since... :p
Destroyed my smoke alarm once. It wouldn't quit beeping..no matter WHAT I did to it. (and no..no smoke around). I threw it across the room at a wall. That shut it up nicely.:p

Back when I was a little kid and I was playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and I kept trying to do the horse challenge or whatever, I kept throwing my controller on the ground, eventually breaking it in two.
Also, more recently, after I got mad due to horrible lag in something, I slammed my monitor against the wall, creating a hole in the wall.

Far, far too sensible a suggestion.
Did you try taking the battery out of it?
Yes I did. I even took the cap off and started poking around the innards. Must have missed something otherwise it would not have shut off when it was thrown.

Friend of mine once wrecked an Austin Allegro when it wouldn't start. Bit like the scene in Fawlty Towers where Basil Fawlty tries to thrash his car. Except instead of a stressed out hotel owner with a flimsy tree branch, it was a hairy biker with a large club hammer. Completely trashed it, from dashboard to distributor cap.
Of course, it serves him right for owning an Austin All-aggro.
