Or she has a major headache.

After her success with us, she didn't really dare have another go at it.

She got so depressed after the whole love affair with El Nino that she jumped off a bridge and got killed by a speeding yacht.
Or she has a major headache.
It's that time of the month.

Mother nature is not incompetent. The species who have systematically exploited and drained her resources are the incompetent ones, methinks.

Its hardly incompetence, considering that that is our stated aim.
Mother Nature on the other hand, if you give her something to do, she'll take millions of years to do it! That's simply no good in today's globalised economy.
(And on the subject of her health: I vote that she has the Bird Flu.)

Bow chicka bow wow!
Sure mother nature is incompetant - so would you be if you had people living in your base killin' your dudes. We're doing everything we can to get ahead at the expense of mother nature: is it any wonder that she's given up the ghost.

Anthropomorphising is a waste of effort.Depends. If it's for shits & giggles, it's often highly successful.

Not in bringing forth those shits and giggles, though.

Yup, it offends Nature when you anthropomorphise.

But probably inevitable.

That's because she's dumping it all on Colorado. How many times must I point out that we've been getting lots and lots of snow?

If this crap continues, nothing will be left of Colorado except snow.
Then we North Carolinians will wonder why Colorado was snowed out of existence yet all we got were some freaking flurries.

I doubt that. I've not been exaggerating the amount of snow though. It's ridiculous. Especially since we've got a new dog now and he can't just be let out to wander the rural-esque neighborhood, so I have to walk him. (Luckily he's extremely good about that.) It makes for really cold Kyronea. :(
Also: what the foogly? Pancake? I thought ye be banned by your mom.
Mother Nature is no more incompetent than the Bush Administration.

It's been below freezing lately and no snow. :(
And my mom let me back on. It's been a difficult 2 weeks. :(

As I sit here looking out the window at the snow falling (yet again), I wonder what you are talking about.
Have a cookie.
The earth is not your mother.
She's losing her touch. Apparently a firebreathing penguin with chainsaws for arms and an insatiable lust for human blood was born last month.
The earth is not your mother.
Then how do you explain that I was born in the exact spot where, 9 months earlier, a noticeably oblong meteor smashed into the earth?
