I encounter this meme more often than I'd like.

One, here on this forum especially, but not exclusively: the idea that European (white) people have a declining birth rate in Europe, hence are being GENOCIDED by those who are breeding faster (or helping others to breed faster, or something).

Two, by anti-Hispanic alarmists in the US: same idea, but with True American (white) people declining birth rate in comparison to Hispanic immigrants. GENOCIDE!

Three, by some folks who claim the "abortion industry" is responsible for declining birth rates among black people, hence abortion is genocide against black people.

So, do you agree with this? I just want to know who here is sane and who isn't.

"the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group."

So, unless all of the evil "mud peoples" are sterilizing or killing noble Aryan men and women, it's not genocide. You know what else is ironic (and unfortunate)? The highest abortion rates are found in minority populations.

In theory, genocide could be self-imposed if everyone in a particular group decided to kill themselves in order to eliminate their culture from the world.

The topic does have a heavy sexual component though. From non-procreative sex to sex with non-whites, the people who champion the opinion you've described tend to really go after those of us who do not conform to their ideal sexual practices. (i.e., one baby per poke, and only whites doing it)

There is no basis for whining about declining white populations in Europe. We are a densely populated continent.

White Americans are declining as much as white Europeans.

I think that abortion is murder, but genocide is generally something much more organised and racially biased.

No...christ no it is not. Oh, and to note something, the US is the only developed nation at the replenishment level (fertility rate), meaning they could maintain their population through reproduction alone. So I doubt the birth rate is something to worry about there.

Since then, I've seen localized versions of the same from a number of countries. I'd imagine typing something like "decline of the aryan horserace" in Google will give you countless examples. Ny Nordland (who I'm guessing is names after the neo-Nazi zine) argued the same, though not from a US angle. Try searching General.

Other than that, I can only agree. One'd have to be pretty fucking unhinged to come up with that sort of shit.
