No Multi-Window Browsing? ftw?

The computers on my college campus have a one-window restriction per computer for browsing the internet... basically, when you try to open a window for multi-window browsing on IE, it tells you that you need to talk to the Admin to be able to do that.

ftw?

Or even, (further to PM's suggestion) IE's tabbed browsing?

Or Telnet ¬_¬

Opera? I like Rigoletto and Le Nozze di Figaro. I hope I got the last one spelled right.

Lawl.

I like open-source just fine, but I also like my stuff to -work- without having to reprogram the damned thing everytime I try something new. Hence, I don't use Linux. Fortunately, firefox usually doesn't have this problem, and is more secure and compatible with things (quicktime, flash, etc).

That's odd.

Also, why is this 'for the win'?

FF fanbois annoy me.

*opera user... for the most part*

I liked Opera's speed, but it felt like it was rushed, and posting on forums was near-impossible because of some of the basic things like how they deal with color and background and spacing. I also couldn't play most flash games with it, so that's a downer.

I'm beginning to have a new-found love for Apple's Safari (based on Konqueror, if memory serves).

Of course, with all the remote administration I do (via ssh), I use lynx on a fairly regular basis

Opera fanbois annoy me because they think they are superior because their browser used to cost money, or has embedded IRC and email, or some other useless thing that doesn't need to be in a browser.

Right, based on Konqueror. I still think safari should be called Governor to continue the series (Navigator, Explorer, Konqueror)

I know it's not an opera, but O Fortuna ftw!

I'm posting on Opera, tis working fine. Though it won't shake hands with iSketch or the enhanced interface in nexus war. But it on the plus side, it doesn't suffer from random amnesia.

I have no need for any puny browser. I access the internet using my mind alone!
