Must resist...... *clicks* nooooooooooooooo! Look at what you've made me do!:(

Look at this post (on Obama):
His middle name is HUSSEIN (sound like anyone you know?) He forgot to mention that. He is also a MUSLIM (converted to christianity) Forgot to mention that too. Do a little researach on this guy, he is BIG trouble!!

I died a little inside when I read that.

Well, the Democrats have learned something. Let's see if they prove it and dump Hilary next.

EDIT: Oooh! I've been time warped!

Well, that eliminates one worry on the Democratic side.

Good riddance. I've seen enough of him to have already decided that he sucks. He sucks hard.

The only reason he got the nod from the D's in '04 is because, at the last minute, the party collectively wigged out over the McGovern talk about Dean and snared the first guy they saw who didn't make them think that.

I'm very surprised he's not running. I don't think he would have stood much chance of gaining the Democrats nomination this time around but I thought he would have tried.

Now for the million-dollar question - what will Kerry do to screw up the Democratic nominee's chances of getting elected in 2008? In 2004, he revealed himself to be stodgy, a lousy public speaker, and easily villified. In 2006, he managed to turn what should have been a Bush slam into a slam on the Armed Forces. In 2008? I'll guess he challenges Zell Miller to a duel.

Thank goodness. If Hillary leaves maybe the democrats will actually have a chance. I really like Obama. The only thing that worries me is his lack of a track record.

Yeah, because he was such a disaster for the Dems in 2006.

He sure as hell didn't help things. Maybe he can only cause problems when he's on the ballot. Or maybe only for the Presidency.

No more Senators running for President on the Democratic ticket, please! Get us a southern governor or better yet, a Sunbelt governor. Bill Richardson, anyone? And for VP, how about a decent member of the House? Diana DeGette of Denver (CO-01) is probably too liberal, but I'd vote for her.

Hmmm.

Would him running really have changed anything? I think its becoming clear that the primaries will be a fairly close two horse race (with Obama hopefully being the winning horse).

That last one is obviously a satire. The teeth are plastic and if you look at his favorites there is stuff like "V for vendetta".

The Senator curse will be broken sooner rather than later, thanks to campaign finance reform. The Senate stuck this little provision that allows money from federal campaigns (i.e. for the House or Senate) to be transferred into presidential campaign funds, while money from state campaigns (like for Governor) can't be. Senators have a huge money advantage as a result and it's only a matter of time before we have two Senators as the major party candidates against each other. It could easily happen this year, as the early frontrunners are Hillary or Obama versus McCain.

What's surprising to me is that any outlet would consider this news. He hasn't even been mentioned on half of the polls I've seen recently, though it's entirely possible that I simply skipped over his name without noticing it. He had no chance. Most independent voters have little use for him, and even the Democrats mostly look at him as the one who blew our chance for the White House through utterly misreading the mood of the nation. Decent senator, lousy campaigner, disastrous candidate.

I don't know... I saw some of his videos where he was "out of character", and even then he struck me as an ignorant ass. I know the video itself is way over-the-top, but it seemed more to me like a jerk exaggerating his views to drive home the point more than a parody. Sorta like those Blue Collar Comedy guys.

Although I never saw his Favorites page, so I don't know for sure...
