I feel I should mention that IV Stalin posted this story earlier (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=515524), but it's fallen down to page 3 and was called "Painstakingly rendered..." (including quotes), so it's understandable it was missed ;)

try it. have someone with a needle poke (lightly mind you...) a pattern on your back... I doubt you would beable to tell what was being drawn...

the Tattoo artist should pay for the laser removal work... at least.

nah...rule number one is go to an actual artist, not some hack.


the man should pay for either a coverup tattoo or the removal (depending on the guys choice), and I'd say some other heavy fines are in order...

i can't find a link, but i remember reading a news story last year about a tattooist who specialised in kanji tattoos, who was jailed for tattooing obscene characters onto unwitting people who thought they were getting their name (or something similarly innocuous)
the point of the story was that he'd continued to do tattoo work while in prison, and had been caught once again tattooing obscene kanji characters, this time onto his (also unaware) cellmates!
brilliant work - wonder if he spent the entire rest of his sentence in solitary for his own sake?
