It does make it very confusing, not to say disconcerting, when you're reading a time warped thread.

These time warps wouldn't be a problem if they ordered threads by post number and not time. The posts would always be in the right order then. I've checked it on the time warped threads. If post A was supposed to be after post B if will still have a higher post number than post B.
For instance this post's post number is 12242400.
