I just have one question - WHY??
I just have one question - WHY??
it says in the article, to keep the penguins warm after the natural oil in their feathers are removed due to cleaning from an oil spill.
my questions tho. won't those jumpers increase in weight when the penguin takes a swim?
and when those dry, won't it shrink?
And since the purpose of preening is to also remove parasites, with those sweaters to prevent them from swallowing toxic oils also prevent the removal of Parasites which could cause bigger health problems later on?

Luckily, i dont give a flying f*** what people think the problems are. Trained ecologists think its a good idea, therefore it has been implimented, therefore i am allowed to go "Ahh, isnt the ickle penguin cute in that ickle jumper!"

No one said you couldn't be hypnotised by the picture of those dressed penguins... after all, it kept me captivated long enough not to activate the time warp. :p
