well,, besides the fact I'm not really all that much of a noob, what is the irc channel for general? And past that question,, why turn this into a thread of random fun,, another opening of my hospital to any and all commers,, *some of the older ns users will probably remember the fun of the slingshot and vault among other things*

*uses the slingshot to fire himself into a random lake of cute if not hot chicks!! (unfortunatly of the chicken kind)*

remember all,, once my irc related question is answered,, or even before that,, the hospital is open for business with all its related crazyness and fun.

*opens all the doors for the hospital including the vault o'fun chemicals,, which is operated by a trained professional apperently.. * just to avoid all the unpleasentness of od's and related bad stuff,, there should be someone to help out with that end..* hope this don't brake any rules,, if it does,, mods feel free to delete it unfortunatly

Because you can not access gabbly on most possible settings.

#nationstates_general is not dead. Trust me, I'd know -- I've been running it for quite some time now. :D

well,, at least it used to,, buts its been a few years since I last ended up there,, i used to frequant it,, but that was a few years back,, just wondering if it was still existing,, otherwise,, i do have a worthless computer/laptop sitting around,, it could always become a bot. to host (ish a channel if none is existing)

am i really that old school to think that site like this still have an irc,, or is irc old and decrypted.

edit - To respond to the what the hell im talking about,, i used to host a 'social' thread back in the day,, where all sorts of randomness did occur, such as me and LG (lunatic goofballs) would fling ourselves off a massive slingshot among other things,, ya know,, the usual random fun people have and etc. god damn i feel old now having to have to do this edit to explain the concept here

It works fine for Firefox 2.0, as well.

Konqueror, Lynx or dillo depending on the system, I am on. I think FF is a memhog and only IR manages to be worse.

Because you can not access gabbly on most possible settings.
We currently support the following browsers: Firefox 1.5, IE 6.0, Safari 2.0, Flock
We're looking to support others soon, including: Opera, IE 7.0
It works fine for Firefox 2.0, as well.

lynx aint that bad,, its still better than purely ascii interface throught a bbs. for internet accsess.
