I own a SanDisc Sansa e270, 6 gig. Roughly equivalent to the Nano, only $100 cheaper, has a radio, voice recorder and radio recorder.

Er...I named one after my personal ficticious radio station...Q891, although I think it says qPod b/c I didn't know that oyu couldn;t change the name after setting it and then I think I found a way to change it...

I have a Boombox. I havn't named him yet.
My Boombox is better then your ipod for the following reasons:
-It plays CDs
-It plays cassette tapes
-It has AM AND FM radio
-It's heavy, and heavy is a sign of reliability

-It's made by JVC so it'l last forever
-It has a remote
-It's portable because it runs on 6 D batteries AND can be hooked up to electrical sockets.
-I can bludgeon someone to death with it if need be.
-With the touch of a button I have Hyberbass which goes great with my Sinatra cassettes
-I don't have to worry about losing it because it's not the size of a wallet
-It's roughly $250 dollars cheaper than an ipod.
There you have it. My Boombox is quite simply, infinitely superior to every single ipod on the planet

I don't have an iPod and there's no point in me getting one - I have a Palm Zire 22 which can play MP3s. I'm considering the purchase of a second SD card (probably 2 or 4GB). Cheaper than buying a standalone player, same capacity as a Mini.
Plus it does other stuff. I have a Bible loaded onto my current SD card, for example.

My Boombox is better then your ipod for the following reasons:
