I voted based on which Mustache I liked more because I couldn't decide otherwise.

You want us to chose!?

A plague on both.

I'm forced to vote Stalin on this one because I absolutely deplore Facism,

You need to go back, and review that statement.

Edit: or, because of the timewarp, go FORWARD and do so.

I'm forced to vote Stalin on this one because I absolutely deplore Facism, whereas I can kind of agree with some of what Stalin was on about. Note the some of.

Wait...
Read again, go back and change.
And for me, Stalin. Dunno why, though.

Hitler was the lesser one, because he was only in power for twelve years whereas Stalin was in power for about 25.

Sometimes, it comes down to just a numerical comparison.

Yes, that's the point.

Well, seeing that Hitler would have had everybody killed, I would have to choose him.

As far as evilness goes, both are equal.

Sure, Stalin killed more, but at a certain point, killing more people doesn't make you more evil, it just makes you more prolific at being evil.

How about being shot in the back of the head? I'd take that over either of those options.

Although, given that whole blond-hair, german thingy, I could probably bullshit my way through Nazism pretty effectively. Maybe even sign up with the Wehrmacht and someday get a shot at placing a briefcase with a bomb right next to Hitler.

Well, in all likelihood choosing Stalin would get you exactly that anyway.

And find nothing wrong with it, since Stalinist Russia was not facist.

No, but it was pretty darn close to fascist.

Stalin was a fan of what he liked to call, 'social fascism'.

So which is the lesser of two evils?

Stalin only killed his own people. Hitler wanted to rule the world. In that case, Stalin is the lesser evil.

Well, if removing any and all elements that disagree with the leadership isn't fascist...

Stalin only killed his own people. Hitler wanted to rule the world. In that case, Stalin is the lesser evil.

Er, no. Hitler was interested in mostly a united Europe, whereas Stalin wanted the world under Communist Rule (ergo his general support of the International etc).

In that case, I'm forced to vote Stalin, as I hate Hitlerian fascism.

Both are pretty bad though... Especially for a Jewish Guy...

I'd vote Stalin on the hope that he wouldn't display the same infernal luck at avoiding assassination that Hitler did.

I reckon Stalin's Communism for one simple reason; the evil in Hitler's regime was institutional, while Stalin was primarily responsible for the evil in his himself. The removal of Hitler would not necessarily have improved the situation of Nazism, but the removal of Stalin would certainly have helped the Communist state.

I dunno, Stalin was definitely involved in some nastiness in places like Eastern Europe and the Korean Peninsula, and would have sought to be able to have influence over more areas, but for the containment policies of the West.

The Nazis had better (by which I mean crazier) personalities; Goebbels, especially.
