Europa online

http://europa.eu/

This is proberbly the single best government website that I have ever seen. Its really far more open than anything else I've read. I really wonder why people read the Sun and the Mirror and the Mail when they want to know about the EU, why not just go to the horse's mouth. You'll get much more than you ever would from the British or American government websites. At least in my experiance

The great thing about it is that unlike national government websites, it isnt affected by parties because the parties in the EU parliament are far weaker. So you can read all the infomation and not worry nearly as much about bias.

Just thought I'd share this with everyone

Define real Parliament

- Consists of elected representatives
- Votes on legislation

"The EU Lacks a Story"

The European Union has long suffered from a negative public image. Too big, too complicated, too bureaucratic. But Margot Wallström, European Commissioner for Communications, wants to change that. She told SPIEGEL ONLINE how.

And here is her blog: http://blogs.ec.europa.eu/wallstrom
