Taiwanese Parliament Fight
The Chinese Republics

Yep, another day, another classic parliament fight. The most famous world-renowned political show just east of China happened yesterday when a DPP lawmaker threw a shoe at the parliament speaker, angry about the KMT-supported election reforms bill, instantly turning a 219-seat legislative chamber into a wrestling ring. A Hong Kong news media also reported that members of the DPP locked the legislature entrance doors with bike locks, effectively locking all of the MPs in the chamber for an hour or so. Priceless. I love democracy. :D
BTW, here's a short video of situation in the chamber that day (news article included in the info box):

Wow they fight as cowardly as a bald French soccer team captain. What are they protesting now? Too have the toilet seats in the parliment building be always put down after use? Thats what I understood from the signs... :p

LOL! If they're protesting about that, then it'll be a parliament fight involving smashing urine-stained ceramic toilet seats on people's face. That would be brutal though.
I was going to say "Hasn't this happened before?" but the clip answered my question. :p
EDIT - heh

Now if only all parliaments and congress matters were solved this way. No more oily smiles, greasy handshakes and corporate buyouts. Just plain old combat.

All disagreements in Parliament should be solved by pillow fight. *nods*
As an American in Taiwan, I'm ever-amused by the antics of the government. It's a caricature of itself. There's the one congressman who tear-gassed the place wearing the V For Vendetta mask, the brawling, the brouhaha over the A-Bian shooting, the whole A-Bian Xia Tai movement...

he brouhaha over the A-Bian shooting
Whatever come out of the admission about the guy who claimed to be the hired gun, hired to inflict minor injuries to generate sympathy votes?
