All rodents love Soda. Reason is the high sugar content. There have been reports of mice/rats chewing through the plastic lines for fountain machines in restaurants.
The mouse in this drink however most likely drowned in the Soda as it was being filled. Probably crawled into the empty bottle before it was filled. The reason I believe is because once a bottle is filled it is capped fairly quickly in the production line.
I would think that returning this to Coke would get more then selling it on Ebay. I imagine you would get some type of reward for bringing that into a Coke distributor. Reward I mean coupons for free soda or something of that nature.

It'd take a while for the coke to do much damage to that mouse. If the acidity was right it might even preserve the mouse(by killing off decomposing bacteria)

I'm dead. Bacteria are decomposing me. Hell, the coke would likely slow it down by killing off the usual bacteria.

Well for one Coca Cola is crap and it is probably cheaper than Acid, easier to get than Acid avoids nasty regulations and COke loves it because they get to sell their nasty product.

actually the highway patrol here does carry coke in the trunk for that purpose. Just because you can clean with it doesn't make it harmful. I have a bottle of coke in my car to clean off my battery cables. I still drink it.
