What classes, if any, would you be interested in taking.. that your friends wouldn't expect you to care about?

For me? Creative writing.

My friends know me well enough to be aware that there is nothing I don't want to learn. :)

I'd like to take a yoga class to improve my flexibility, or a theatre class so I could play around and get credit for it.

I don't think any course I'd want to take would surprise my friends. Either that means I'm very predictable, or they just know me quite well.

Not exactly going to surprise anyone, but I want to take "The history of beer and wine." Definitely sounds awesome.

Well i supprised my parents quite a lot by starting up trampolining and gymnastics (despite my inability to attend PE lessons at school)

Fencing, sewing classes, cooking.

I took fencing my first semester of college, bought my own equipment, and have been keeping up ever since. It's a helluva lot of fun and its good exercise. If you get a chance, take it. You won't be disappointed so long as you have a good teacher.

As for me, I'm completely with you on cooking. I've always wanted to learn how, and I've been trying to cook more and more for myself. Classes would be a good thing, I think.

Also, dancing. I really want to take dancing lessons, and I just may in the not-to-distant future.

In a somewhat related fashion, my friends know me well enough to know that I wouldn't sign up for classes I wanted to take if I didn't have to.
