YOO-HOO! Gurps GM's, I need advice!

I'm running a game so, the characters have amnesia. They are in a weird future, and have no clue. Aliens, magic, Vampires, Greek Gods, lasers, rapiers, you name it. There are three of them one is the son of Aphrodite and a shadow (it's complicated) and is the top looks he can be. He was sent into the future to save the world. We'll call him Pretty Boy, and he's RP'ed by a 18-year-old. Next is this one who is not nice. He finally gets his memory back, and remembers he's a prince, half alien and human. But it turns out he was just a body for spare parts (for the REAL prince) and now he's on the run. We'll call him Psycho, and he's RP'ed by an 11-year-old. Next is this guy who was created using a Greek pot full Ares' bllod found, and cross gened with King David by Israeli scientists. He's like Spock, except not hesitant to kill. We'll call him Spock, and he is RP'ed by a 14-year-old.
So they're traveling, and they get gas, Psycho runs in to pay. After paying, he decides he wants his money back and shoots the owner. He is caught on a future-istic security camera, and the police come. Spock blows one of the cops's heads-off, and the group leaves (they also happened to be in a stolen police hovercraft at the time.) They steal another car for no reason, and Pretty Boy ejects the owner with his apologizes. Another fight ensues at customs because guns aren't allowed. The players massacre the police.
Now the problem is, Pretty Boy says "you know, the police bother us a lot". He whines, and says the group shouldn't have much trouble. I say "you murdered several police and a gas station owner". He wants to repent, quick and dirty. I think that will just encourage more murders, and a less meaningful stroyline. Any help fellow GM's?

The heroes's purpose is to save the world from demons. Not my fault they a got "a little side-tracked".

have them go into a zone that auto-disables their weapons.

then perhaps they have to be sneaky in order to survive?

Maybe then you could try putting demons into the storyline? I don't know; maybe they come across some horribly mangled bodies of policemen with strange markings on the skin, and are the attacked by some weird(demonic) creature that was eating the corpses?

BTW: I have no idea what this is for or what a "GM" is, so please be lenient with me.

No-go. They'd garrote any authorities on the street. I didn't put the cops there to challenge them, just to be realistic. If you murder some guy running a gas staion, and kill a squad of cops, I thought there should be some reprecusions.

then they need to face overwhelming firepower that they cannot possibly survive. give them a way to escape but ONLY if they keep a low profile on the other side of customs. have any violent outburst bring the cops down on them. force them to stop fucking up your game or face its end.

ok... down and dirty suggestions here. bare bones, you need to flesh it out.

either they give themselves up or they get caught. (futuristic, right. so stun grenades or what not.)

the Police toss em in jail where you have the usual type storyline. if the group is mixed sex, then have the jail being co-hab (the movie DeadLock (http://imdb.com/title/tt0103239/)might give you some ideas on how to handle it.)

anyway, the point is to keep the group together...

if you want them back on the right side of the law, a major jail break that your heroes stop (say they save the life of the warden and a bunch of guards.)

or

give them a hint as to the plot line. some idiot prisioner summons a demon that runs amok, if you want, you can draw it out by making it prey on the prisioners and the heroes have to find it and stop it. The point would be to make the prision officals know what happened and that they stopped it.

all of a sudden, you can have reports of random attacks by demons (of course you can describe it as something else.) and now the heroes have to get out.

that's where the point of the prision officals come in. They inform the mayor of what's happened, the mayor then makes a deal with them to stop the attacks. that deal can be Parole (so they can deal with the problems) but they are put on a short leash. an offical leasion, as well as say, collars that can be remote detonated or detonated if tampered with. have a couple of sessions where they fight small incursions of demons before pulling them back into the main story.

hold the fact that they can be killed as well as slung back into jail if they step outta line again over them. use the npc offical as a watchdog to keep them in line.

if they behave... then they get their freedom (after they served their parole.)
the time in prision can be used to make contacts with the underworld, black market, etc... and can provide interesting NPC's.

what will be difficult is the fact that magic is already available in your world, so if you know of some special reason why they are the ones to stop the invasion, you need to work that in. (they hold the three artifacts that can seal the demon in, but only they can activate the artifacts or something.)

GURPS = Generic Universal Role Playing System.
GM = Game Master. the one who tells the story and referees the player's actions.

W.W.B.A.F.D? What Would B.A. Felton Do? :D

Well, even though I'm not a GM and never played GURPS (although I have slung dice in D&D 3.0 and Rifts), I'd have to agree with Ashmoria's suggestion (I know it'd curb my rampaging through a GM/DM's campaign). Maybe throw in a few reminders now and then that the police are looking for them (wanted posters with their descriptions, a run-in with an officer that recognizes them and calls for backup, etc) will keep them on their behavior.

the only problem with Ashmoria's suggestion is the incorporation of Magic. if the players has access to the magic, then disabling their weapons is an inconvience. seeing that they are sneaky enough to "Garrotte" police officers, the only other option is the heavy firepower. And any group that warrants the military to be called out to handle them is too power heavy on the player's side.

also, being on run from the law (unless it's the Shadowrun world) is very limiting as to what a player can do.

I know, but admit it, it was their own fault. And anyways, as of present they are in the employ of Louis XVI (a different one), and have a lot of immunity if they do what he says.

One player does. "Spock", the others don't. Pretty Boy has sweet charisma,
TREMENDOUS looks, excellent fencing skills, and the ability to change into a shadow. And Psycho can pull objects through other demensions.
