Ebay has started a terrible new program where once an item hits $200 in bids, the identities of the bidders are automatically hidden.
In six years and more than two hundred ebay transactions, I've never once bid on an item with hidden bidders, since it is suspect and expeditious to shill-bidder fraud.
Why ebay has chosen to undermine the trust and transparency so central to its business is a mystery, but they have.
I invite all here to contact ebay and complain about this self-sabotage of their auction system.

I invite all here also to refrain from selling items of more than 200 dollars' value on ebay on the grounds that no one can in good faith run an auction with private bidders.
