Yes, I have a different shampoo that I use on weekends.

Why? Seriously, what's wrong with the stuff you use during the week?

I have different shower gels for different occasions, to match different deodorants/aftershaves, but I always use the same shampoo. Each to their own though.

Not specifically for the weekend, but I do have two shampoos. Neutrogena's super-duper dandruff shampoo a couple of times a week. Nothing else seems to do as good a job, but it doesn't leave my hair as soft and shiny as my regular stuff.

Not a shampoo, but a shower gel. Body Shop Strawberry shower gel... it's really expensive, that's why I only use it on the weekends. I love it.

I have a couple shampoos I switch between on a monthly basis, cause you have to rotate them otherwise you get a residue buildup... but I don't switch on the weekends. Is not a bad idea, really.

You could be with her in the shower...;)

I frequently don't notice it's the weekend, so it'd be rather pointless me having a weekend shampoo. I do have two different shampoo/conditioner sets, because over time just using one it starts to have less effect. I use the cheaper one about 3/4 of the time. :)

Shampoo is better! I go on first and clean the hair.
___Conditioner is better! I leave the hair silky and smooth.

(That said - I usually use different shampoos and the expensive, good smelling body shampoo on weekends when I'm going to see my lady.)

It's pretty rare that my masses of curly hair gets washed properly because it turns into a giant fluff ball. When it does get washed, its by whatever shampoo is in the shower. For my body, it's soap and water. Or mostly just water.

Alias I use the same shampoo all the time, I have tried new ones to see if they do better on my hair. But then I choose one and stick with it.

Shampoo removes the oils and dried skin that build up and flatten your hair which can make you look older. It revitalizes your hair but I would also use a conditioner as it makes the hair stronger and smoother.

I keep several shampoos and conditioners in the shower and use whichever one strikes my fancy that morning. I like to keep my hair on its toes, otherwise it gets complaisant and dull.

Well, I'm only back to using shampoo for a week or so now, so I still have only one shampoo.. but I do use two different conditioners. Okay, so maybe that should read "two different series of conditioners".

But I do have a weekday and weekend shower gel. Actually, that's not quite correct, I have two weekday and two weekend showering gels (one for early day showers, and one should I happen to shower later). Although that's not quite correct either, it's more "boring regular days' set" and a "a little bit more special days' set".

It's just so new and scary to me. I'm used to my hair going through cycles of greasy and clean. How am I meant to cope with it being clean all the time?

I have a specific shampoo I use if I'm going to be performing somewhere, it's mint, and I just like the smell, it calms me down. I also have a specific shampoo I use before ceremonies, if at all possible.

I dunno. I hear there are the Hygienics Anonymous, but I wouldn't trust them. Maybe just go with an all-around headscarf (and I know you're a male, but I once did that when I was walking around with an Iranian male friend of mine and boy, now I know what being shot dirty looks for fucking nothing means), it saves you lots of bother having to look and and feel your immensely clean hair.

Mint? And people call *me* weird.. (for desperately hunting stores for a showering gel that'll smell exactly like soap, and not like gel).

What's the ceremony one smell like?

I'm tempted to just shave my head. If my Dad is anything to go by I'm gonna lose most of my hair anyway. May as well get used to it. Unfortunately I'm hugely lazy so I almost never get my haircut.

Your grandfathers are the one to look at when it comes to your hair, especially you mother's father.

I have a topcoat that I only put in every other day, but I always use the same shampoo. Although, I do have a production week shampoo, which is basically just cheap stuff, because the crew always puts so much gunk in my hair it takes about three washes a day to get it out, and there really doesn't seem to be a point in wasting all my fancy stuff on that. If I don't eat and don't sleep that week anyways, how does my hair really matter?

I avoid showering at the weekends, and washing my hair most of the time. It conserves water and energy and is better for my curly hair.
