max would have been a very good nickname. napoleon (accent at the end) is shortened to "nappy" so its out of the question. my husband had an uncle named napoleon so it wouldnt have been so wrong.

If it is a girl, I want to name her Georgia, like the country. That way I can call her George for short. Then when she gets older I can tell her that she was named after a character from Dead Like Me (because its a cool name, not because I am obsessed with the character.)

For a guy, Shawn is a pretty decent name, but I think I would spend more time consulting with the babies mother as there is nothing I am dead set on naming him.

Heaps of people are saying "Child 1" and thats actually what my parents did for most of us, not me unfortunatly I would've liked some derivative of Novem as a name.

My younger son wants to pick Horatio for his confirmation name - unfortunately we can't find a St Horatio - nelson fighting atheistic france and Hornblower being a fictional hero doesn't count to the vatican and the pope doesn't watch CSI:Miami [he watches House & ugly betty instead...]
