Go to internet options -> content -> auto complete options untick what content you don't want IE to give possible matches for. And you could delete your cookies and history as well.

Right click on the internet explorer browser, select properties...General Tab, select the delete button in the browsing history section, click the history button, or all the buttons, and then push apply.

The easiest way I believe is to visit a number of random web pages until the pages in question are pushed off the list.

Long live google rankings! /sarcasm

I've never used that tool bar...I really don't like using google either. What with their penchant for recording your searches...

To the OP....seriously think about using a different browser....firefox or opera perhaps...

Firefox 2.0.1 has been crashing down a lot on me on a few sites, perhaps it's the javascript but I never had any problems with previous versions going belly up because of bad coding.

Even though IE7 is much much better than IE6 and I wouldn't mind using it as my main browser, Firefox still has a few neat tricks, specially in the form of add-ons that make it better for me. Annoying crashes notwithstanding (that's what session restore is there for anyway).

re IE...the big problem with IE are the active X controls...big problem that. Amongst a host of other security flaws.

tabbed browsing and the "stumble!" ad-on make it at least 150% better

go in to Tools and in Internet options then use clear history, delete cookies, delete files tick the all offline contextLike he said, except that on IE7 (and in more detail) -

Click 'tools' in the rop right (below the search bar), click 'internet options' at the bottom of the menu, you choose the 'general' tab if you are not already it in, and then lick the 'delete' button in the 'browsing history' heading. To get rid of the history click 'delete' under the 'history' heading. You make also want to delete 'cookies' and 'temporary internet files' if you have people that are determined to find you out.

gotta fight the man otherwise you get a monopoly and a monopoly on the internet is bad…IE7 has tabbed browsing.

edit: it also has a pictorial way to browse your tabs. I like this a lot.

The main reason I prefer Firefox is the find facility. I prefer how it operates in Firefox than in IE7 (you don't have to click 'next' to find the first item and the search is immediate) and it also has a highlight option which is fantastic for speed browsing a long document.

Firefox has more than once incurred my wrath for deciding it doesn't like my bookmarks. At this point I've just given up and only use Firefox for iSketch and raids in Nexus War.

By a new computer, and open it only after they arrive. They will only probably find the porn on it.
