I think Arizona should nuke Texas for being a bad influence on New Mexico.
I also wouldnt be averse to our absorbing California (outside of certain cities, which could become protectorates).

Micronations usually start off making money by selling things like passports, coins, titles of nobility, etc. As of late I have just been seeing more and more people set up stores on cafepress and selling t-shirts and the like.

Well, you can't be a state then. To be a state, you must have 1) territory, 2) population, 3) government, 4) an ability to enter into relations with other states.

2. Even 1 person counts as a population, but most micronations have more.
3. Micronationalism is all about starting a government, so most likely you will have one.
4. With the advent of the internet, it is almost impossible to not have this ability.

True enough...though in my mind, you're already standing on all the land you need for soverignty at any given moment, no matter where you are.

The beauty of it is that they don't have to give two shits. It is not their job to make your country real. As far as I am concerned, as long as you meet all of the requirements set forth by the Montevideo Convention, you are a nation. Example: Taiwan, not many nations recognize it as a nation, but is it any less of a nation because of it?
My micronational constitution is about 17 pages long I think. :p

not currently, nor had I heard of it, but I just looked it up on Wiki and it sounds cool.
the land that I am currently looking at is not in a town or city, in fact when we buy it we will have the option to remain in the weird state that it's in or to annex with the nearest township that is 40 minutes away.........it's an interesting idea, since I would be buying land that isn't really a part of anything now........
although I guess I could do this in my house I have now too right? just make a stupid website?:p
I think I should annex a couple miles of uninhabited land, secede from the union, and then set up offshores banks to make money.
