Ticklishness

Extreme Ironing

In celebration of the monumental achievement that is my 219th post, I decided to make a topic of upmost seriousness.

I have several friends who are very, very ticklish. I mean very when I say it. You don't even have to touch them to make them burst out in fits of giggles and squirming, just waggling your fingers infront of them is enough. However, I am not ticklish at all. No place on my body has ever been discovered that affects me in that manner. Now, this obvious superiority I have over my friends leads me to one conclusion: I am invincible.

Are YOU ticklish?

(Damn, I made a spelling mistake in one of the poll options)

I'm extremely ticklish.... most of the time. The only time I'm at least less ticklish (if not completely un-ticklish...) is when I'm absolutely, totally relaxed.

Nope and never have been. As far back as I can remember when people tried to tickle me it just hurt.. especially in the underarms and ribs.. felt like they were just digging into me. Very light stroking of the skin feels good .. but thats not a tickle.

I'm extremely ticklish to the point where should I come under tickle attack I am rendered powerless like a turtle on its back, fortunately (for me) I have tickling powers that rival the Gods :D

should I use these powers for good or evil?

Just put your finger in your mouth and try to tickle the "ceiling". If done right, you'll be tickled like nothing before. Everyone gets tickled, you just have to find the right spot.

Yes. Everywhere. And those that know me use it against me frequently :(

I am not ticklish, I am too well disciplined. It would be nice if I was though, it looks so much fun.

It depends on my mood. When I'm feeling really loose, then in certain spots yes. When I'm concentrating on something, in a negative mood, or just plain bored then no I'm not ticklish.

For some reason it irritates the menfolk that I'm not ticklish most of the time.

Evil. :)

I'm devastatingly ticklish. But just as you, I am a devilish tickler. I believe there's a correlation. *nod*

In certain places I am VERY ticklish.
It's bad because, when people know this, they can use it to kill me...:(

Also.. Just A Random fact, when I am tickled right, my leg shakes...Y'know... Like a puppys...

I am extremely ticklish, everywhere. There are some hilarious pictures out there somewhere of me bieng pinned to the floor and tickled by some of my guy friends on the swim team, having a giggling fit and trying to curl into a ball because my tummy hurt so much from all the laughing.

Yes, I am. But it is way beyond any point where it is useful, flirtatious, or anything good. It is a menace unto my life.

I'm only ticklish in some places, but where I am ticklish, I am extremely sensitive.

i'm only ticklish if i'm caught unawares. if i'm prepared to be tickled if i find it easy to maintain control.

Tickle Fight! *rolls on floor arms tightly clenched to side, feet firmly planted so that the soles are inaccessible, giggling and crying uncontrollably.*

Yeah that's true ... makes your mouth water like crazy too. Then you have to rub it like mad with your tongue to get rid of the feeling. But is that a tickle? It doesn't make me want to laugh, just makes me crazy.

I've developed a mental resistance to being tickled. I think it stems from the days when I was still in preschool where I managed to train myself to cry instead of laugh when tickled.

I am very, very ticklish, especially along my sides.

I also have one particular spot under my chin, to the left, kinda close to my ear... that even *I* can't find. But my boyfriend can. :p

Of course, he is very, very ticklish along his sides, too, along his ribs, so it's okay. It just depends on who gets who first. ;)

I used to be extermely, pathetically ticklelish. I found it very irritating, it made me feel quite vunerable. Several people told me it was a mind over matter type thing and that I could simply decide not to be ticklelish. I tried it. It took some time, but I am now tickleproof.:p

Yes, but only if I'm not expecting it. If I'm prepared, I can usually resist.
