If you could have a second homepage, what would it be. Mine would be Wikipedia. :)

If you could have a second homepage,[..]
What do you mean? A second page that's the first to open up when you start your browser?
If that's it, I'm afraid someone who loses at the internets as much as I do has to tell you that at least with IE7, you can have multiple 'homepages' like that - tabbed, of course. I have three.

Yup. Firefox and, I believe, Opera can also do the same.

I guess what you want to know is "What is your second homepage?" My homepages are those of my own websites.

I was about to post something like "And as always, I guess there'll be a fancy Firefox option to do not only the same, but better" but then I thought I better go and check, and I couldn't get my firefox to do it- but then again, I rarely ever use it and am therefore not very acquainted with it, and I think I already mentioned me not exactly being an expert..

So, without wanting to call for the RTFM answer I'm bound to get: How do you do it in Firefox?

Nice preemptive defense :D

Open the tabs you want as homepages and in the Main tab of Tools / Options you'll have the option of "Use current pages" for the homepage.

Edit: At least Firefox 2.0. I think 1.5 didn't do it.

I'd probably have Slashdot for my second, and alt.sysadmin.recovery in groups beta for my third.

My current homepage is Russ Allbery's Rant (http://home.xnet.com/~raven/Sysadmin/Rant.html), which I think should be compulsory reading for everybody before they are allowed to use the net.

I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I do learn eventually. ;]

Shall try; will report back in just a moment.

Ah, okay, I tried seperating them by comma, semicolon, spaces, and (Ctrl+) Enter, but I didn't think of the |. Thanks for the hint.

I deliberately don't have a homepage. My browser comes up nice and blank, as I prefer it.

I don't use homepages, my Firefox homepage is Google, but if I'm opening for Google I forget and half type Google's address in before it loads. I'm the same with desktop shortcuts :p

I have:

www.nationstates.net

www.ex-astris-scientia.org

forums.jolt.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=1227 (NSG)

mail.google.com/mail

And a fifth tab, which tends to rotate around a lot of stuff. Most recently it belongs to a thread on a forum for local stuff here where I live that is advertising my current availability to work.

QFT. Having a homepage wastes both time and bandwidth.

You might also want to try out sessions under the file menu.
Open all the pages that you want opened , go to File|sessions | Save this this session, give it a name and it can be either a default or one of many choices when you start Opera. Also Opera auto-saves your last session and can re-open that if you had to shut down.

Well, see, I spend a portion of my online time at each of these pages, so it doesn't go to waste. That's why they are my homepages, instead of, say, www.foxnews.com
