Odd Weather

I'm amazed at this weather. It's early January and its about 72 F/ 22 C. It's supposed to be cold outside, after all, it's winter here. I'm actually going to go put shorts on when I get dressed. Is anyone else experiencing abnormal weather?

Yeah. I'm in PA myself at the moment. It's like a nice spring day outside.

Yep. Too warm for the time of year, both in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

The Rhode Island one is particularly worrying, since it's mostly coastal.

Yeah, I was wondering why it was so hot in my room, then a friend messaged me telling me he was wearing shorts. I'm very surprised at the weather, but it's not unwelcome.

Yes.

It's WAY too warm here (Germany).

It's already January and I have yet to see 1 single snowflake in this so-called winter. Not that I'm exactly missing it (I hate snow & winter) but it's scary as all hell.

Today it was 10°C! (50°F)

As my dad said - it's Easter weather.

About average down here in Florida, maybe a touch warmer than normal, but I don't mind. However, the two blizzards I got caught in while in Colorado a week or so ago were also unusual and they sucked major ass.

Also in PA, we have all the windows open, and the heat all the way down.

I WANT SNOW!

I don't care too much about the lack of snow, just because I hate shoveling.

We've been really lucky with this winter. If all this rain we've had had been snow we'd be buried. Also, I had to drive to Chicago and back yesterday (5 hours each way) and if the rain had been snow it would have been quite rough.

The maximum today was 9C, which is about 3C higher than average. Nothing spectacular, really.

I (my brother, actually..) only have to shovel about 20 feet of sidewalk, then we just have the driveway plowed.

I don't have a lot of sidewalk to shovel, but we've got to do the driveway, and you can't really count on my brother to help a whole lot, the incompetent bastard.

PA here too, way too hot.

At least it's supposed to cool down next week.

And, I'm a snowboarder. I'm not taking this too well.

Snow goes by many names.

The first couple feet of the season are, 'glistening clean snow'. The next few feet are, 'snow'. The next several feet are, 'more fucking snow'. After that, it's 'white shit'. *nod* :D

yes, previous year was the hottest they recorded, and yesterday night it was 12°C while it should be freezing.

By the way, I LOVE the weather. It's rainy. It's muddy. It's cool, but not too cold. Still occasionally rising into the upper 50s or low 60s. It's MY weather. :D

Its 72*F in New York today. In JANUARY!!! Ridiculous. When the calendar says January and the weather outside says May, its called global warming, period.

I am; I hate it.

Honestly... drop to the 30s or 20s F already.

We got a foot-and-a-half here in the Rio Grande Valley. That's unheard of here! The snow ended up in Colorado and New Mexico when it was suppose to go the Pennsylvania and New York.

Also, every time it snows here the night sky lights up a bright orange and it becomes bright enough to read outside. You guys have that problem too?

Its that white stuff that falls from the sky that would have me making jokes about God's sex organ. If I were a crude man.
