On MySpace, what does it mean when someone "is in your extended network"?
It means THEY are watching you.

I am joes friend. So is bob. And then sally is bobs friend. And then cactus jack is sally's friend. And pookie is cactus jack's small dog. Therefore pookie is in your extended network (or somesuch...) Basically it traces friends of friends of friends....

kinda like when you have sex with someone, you're risking getting all the diseases of the people they slept with, and the diseases those people slept with. So as you can see, Myspace is the STD filled sloppy seconds of the intrawebs.

But I don't have a myspace, so how can it trace my friends...
