IL Ruffino

... and not even believe it?

Because while I think religion is a waste of time, I think I have a pretty neat theory on God and the like.

You can write a book about anything. The question is, will your book have credibility, the answer is no.

go on, tell us your idea. i'll blackmail you with your real name if you're not careful ;) (j/k)

i could write a book on religion without believing in it. of course, the book would have to either be about the fact that i don't believe in religion, how much organised religion sucks, or some other subject stemming from my own beliefs.
if you mean writing a pro-religious book without believing in it then that's a lot harder.

sure you can write a book about god and not believe the theology you are espousing.

it does make the interviews tougher though

why would it? surely he would know his own theory well enough to discuss it.

But the interviewer could discredit it easily, by the fact that he doesn't even believe it, meaning it isn't a convincing argument.

when i was typing that i also thought it must have been a joke that to much people took to seriously. and then he couldn't go back, because there were hordes of scientologists who would be disappointed. you know like if you start a joke and then you do it a couple of times people start to associate you with the joke, and you can't really stop it.

There have been any number of books printed (The Da Vinci Code, for instance) offering nonsense ideas on a huge range of topics. Get writing.

I think Ruffy would be able to BS his way out of that question if asked directly.

"do you believe your theory?"
"do people write books about things they don't believe?"

Dan Brown got people(stupid people admittedly) to believe the whole DaVinci code gibberish.

I know! How could anyone really believe they're actually an omnipotent being, they just forgot about it.

I know you are not "religious" but it's a known "fact" that Zombie Jesus isn't sweet.........unless He is candy coated, and for someone to candy coat Zombie Jesus.......well, that's just wrong.

I agree. Zombie Jesus is savoury, and to claim otherwise is heresy.

I always thought Sweet was just a title of some sort, not a refference to flavour......this has rocked by belief system to its foundations.

that would depend on how controversial his theory is, I am pretty sure whatever Ruffy has to say about God won't be welcome on the 700 club. ;)

although, if I start podcasting again, I might let Ruffy on my show.........I haven't done one in like a month though, my poor poor fan(s)
