I upped the grace period after the first correct guess to 30 seconds (I think) and the celebration time between games to 35 (I think).

Why does racism and homophobia and sketching go together, is what I want - nay, demand! - to know! Surely there must be websites and IRQ-channels devoted almost solely to such unsavory topics? And gah, I don't need to venture into one (I've done that before by mistake) just seeing the names of the rooms are enough. They make NSG look like a bastion of sanity, common sense and politeness.

Nah, by invite seems to be the way to go unless one feels bold.

Also, iSketch kicked me out and rebooted my computer last time. During the celebrations when Chandelier won it got all funky on me. :(

Yeah, you're absolutely right, it's just that the name of that one was so over the top that I kind of had to see it with my own eyes - and like I said, they kicked me out after nary a minute while I was still watching in wide-eyed horror. :/

In other news:

I went into one of the regular rooms the other day - you know, the ones that are not user-created and where you actually have *gasp* draw by iSketch's very strict rules.

I went into the "Connections" one and it was pretty cool even though all the rules and the strangers scared me...:(

The point of "Connections" is that you always have to incorporate the previous word into your own drawing (you also have to start your drawing by first drawing the previous word).

For example:

Someone had drawn "moon", and the next person's word was "tennis" so instead of just simply drawing tennis he had to incorporate "moon" into the pic, too. So he drew two astronauts playing tennis on the moon.

And the person before me had drawn "ostrich", and my word was "jury", so I drew a courtroom with a contrite ostrich as the defendant.

It's quite cool, gives funny results, and is a good way to avoid the same old, same old we're already having with the Basic wordlist because it makes new combinations.

I've been thinking about making a Connections room of our own - I'd have to lengthen the drawing time considerably and we'd still have to play with the Basic wordlist, and people would have to come here and read the rules first.

What does everybody think? Sound good?
