Linguolution

My Linguistics teacher was forcing me to learn about the guesswork theory called Linguolution. She claims that languages sprung up on their own and that they linguolve over time to form new languages. Now, of course, I believe in microlinguolution, the development of words from other words and the change of meanings of words. However, new languages have never been proven to spring up in any scientific way.

Obviously, I'm being facetious, but isn't the argument against evolution saying that microevolution exists but not macroevolution just like saying that languages can make small changes but they don't add up to the creation of new languages, extinct languages and one language evolving into another.
