How often do you shave?

Zilam

Whether its the face, underarms, legs, or places that we little boys and girls shouldn't be thinking of, most of us shave something on a regular basis.

Im just curious as to how ofter you shave.(Im bored :P)

For me, I shave my facial hair about every 3 days.

facial hair, I go as long between shavings as I can stand (untill it starts itching). I'm at about 5 days right now.

I'm cultivating a weirdbeard, but the parts I DO shave get shaved every other day at minimum, if I'm just being a lazy college student. If I need to look nice, I need to shave. Dark, thick, fast-growing hair here. Woo testosterone?

Depends if I only have lectures to go (then I shave once or twice a week), if I have clinical rotations, I shave every day. If I'm off from both, which isn't often, then I don't shave.

That's the face. The rest of the body gets touch ups as needed when I notice. Wax sometimes when I need to be extra "fine".

My stubble becomes really itchy after about 5 days, and stays that way for about 2-3 weeks.

I usually shave everyday for work (but not always, if I can't be buggered). I only shave on weekends if I'm doing something special.

i can only speak for myself, but
it's the hair on the neck (under the chin) that itches once it gets over about 5 days growth
i believe it's because cheek hair splays outward away from the skin, but neck hair splays inward against the skin
so it's the tips of the hairs causing the itch

I have dark hair and fast-growing beard so I usually shave every morning – at least whenever I’m supposed to get out of the house, either to university or to work.

During weekend and holydays however, I tend to go for a couple of days between shavings. My record is four days – but by that time it was itching so badly that I couldn’t stand it anymore.

For some reason, shaving my face often causes me to break out a little bit. So it's rather unenjoyable. Thus, I do it about once a week, maybe twice. Half the time I don't even know where my razor is.

And conveniently, my facial hair doesn't grow too fast. I can go five days without shaving and it only looks like two or three. Which is weird because my uncle was growing a beard at 10.

It used to be every 2-3 days with a wet shave, but it's become every day with an electric now. My hair is very very very thick. Everytime I go to a new barber/hairdresser they comment on its thickness. Normally that it's the thickest they've ever cut.

I quite happy with the amount of hair I have otherwise. Pretty much hairless above abdomen, and the reverse below, right down to the tips of my toes. Well my hair doesn't really grow on my toenails. But you probably know what I mean.

I hate being hairy. And I look much beter when shaved, so I have to shave all the time. Also, when I was young I hated having hair on my body, so I did shave my chest. Now I dont anymore, and I´m confortable with it.

As a couple of the girls have said, I don't bother shaving my legs unless I'm wearing something short, and since it's winter, I don't do that often. I do have a boyfriend, but we (unfortunately) haven't been engaging in much lately that would require me looking nicely groomed all over. ;) I did shave my legs a couple days ago because I was going out and wanted to wear a skirt, but in the winter, it's usually only once a week, if that.

Otherwise, every 2-3 days, I guess. As long as I can get away with not shaving them. I'm lazy. :p

I try to shave every Monday. If I miss it, I'll just shave the next day or the day after.

While the hair on my head is extremely thick, my facial hair is considerably lighter. My Native American genes probably have something to do with that. The patterns and texture scream Irish, but the hair itself is nowhere near as thick as it should be, nor does it grow as fast.

:D Lucky you, I get to do both legs and pits. Depending on the time of year, that'll amount to a couple three times a week in summer, maybe once a week in the winter.

I don't know that armpit hair is necessarily an "ew" sort of thing. Left to myself, I'd not shave it at all, but then I'd probably be left to myself if I stopped, as my Lady doesn't care for it. Life's a series of compromises, I guess. ;)

It's "ew" because it was long and black when I checked it last. Yet, the rest of my hair, other than that on my head, which is light brown, is white-blond. You can't even see it. So, I was told not to shave it... ever.
