Your predictions for 2007

Technology: Windows Vista brings a new age of not being able to get all
kinds of fancy new gadgets to work at greater expense than previous years.
Beginning of the end for illegal music downloading?

Politics: Same old crooks and imbeciles line their pockets and bring death and destruction mostly on people who have darker skins than they do.

Religion: Mature religion continues its rapid decline while excitable nonsense
becomes ever more popular.

Markets: no idea? Will shares be up or down this year?

Technology: Maybe I will able to get a new desktop that will be compatible with Windows Vista... (And all the DX10 thing...)

Politics: Someone will do something...

Market: Some country gain money, some country lose money...

Religion: The Nazareth One will come back... (At least o think 25% of US citizens...) Gundams will rule the world and the last Harry Potter book will become an heretic text...

Culture: There will be a Transformers Movie and maybe an Evangelion Live Action...

I will be 15 on Friday and finish up my freshman year of high school.

Politics: Same croooks, though different faces trying to get something done.
Religion: The new Harry Potter book and movie will both come out n July, and be regarded as a satanic text causing mass censorship.
Market: Don't know.

Housing market crash becomes apparent. Recession. Dollar hits new lows.

Dow at new highs.

UK withdraws from Iraq.

Jimmy Carter's involvment with dodgy finances exposed.

Silver Surfer movie breaks July box office records.

People finally get over Paris Hilton and Brittany Spears.

If I have anymore nostradamus like predictions I'll post them.

Technology: Robots running on Windows Vista will take over most of the world in the name of Glorious Leader Gates. Robots running on Mac OSX will engage the Vistabots in head on combat, while Linuxbots will use guerilla tactics and replace Muslims as the world's terrorists.
Religion: Jesus will return, but, to the dismay of devout Christians everywhere, he will be a liberal hippy, who planned on returning in the 60s, but got really high and woke up 40 years later with no idea where he was. Druggies across the world will celebrate as he turns water into the recreational drug of your choice, for a fee of beads, poetry or sexual favours.
Literature: Harry Potter fanboys and -girls(aka Pot Heads) will commit mass suicide as Harry Potter and The Ghastly Hollows ends with it all being a dream as Harry awakes to find himself still living under the stair with the Durselys with no forehead scar or magical powers to speak of. Ironically this will be the first novel in the series to recieve no criticism from the religious right.
Controversy: The Muslim world will once again be enraged as Muslim women take to the street and burn their burkhas. The non-Muslim world will recoil collectively in terror as they see that Muslim women are, in fact, some kind of alien that very much resembles Cthulu. Cthulu Cultists are expected to go into hiding.

Technology: Self-replicating pants will deliver a crushing blow to the garment industry.

Politics: The Blue party will displace the Greens, as Emo kids begin to vote.

Religion: Christ will appear briefly, but leave again after he realizes that he doesn't really love us anymore... and maybe never did.

Markets: In like a Bull, out like a bear.

Economics: the Flexicurity model will begin to take hold in Germany and France, Britain follows behind slowly

Markets: Yaks milk replaces cows milk in the U.K after a second outbreak of mad cow

Politics: Turkmenistan collapses into civil war as Kazakhstan and China begin a huge proxy war that will decide the fate of the region (British training of Kazakhstan’s troops and international support however proves a crucial edge in combat)

Nationstates: the new movie Jennifer government flops however Max Berry makes millions in movie ads

Economics: the Euro continues in its rise above the dollar as the U.S dollar begins to lose oil trade rights

Culture: disco makes a brief comeback as does brute deodoriser :eek:

The world population will increase by approximately 100,000,000.

Technology:

Windows Vista is released. Everybody buys new computers.
Amsterdam has success with Linux on desktop computers. A few municipalities in the Netherlands and France note this success and begin to change themselves.
The EU sues Microsoft again. A CEO at Microsoft responds by pointing out that the EU is just supporting their illegal monopoly buy using their product. The idea of having the EU officially switch to FOSS becomes a large issue.
Linux distributions begin to spit into FOSS-only distributions and mixed distributions
A video game vendor uses an anti-piracy software tool that ends up bjorking most peoples computers. Several class action suits are filed. The company receives so much bad press that it is no longer able to generate sales and collapses.
Tesla Motors continues to have success. Sells out of its 2008 cars and announces a 2008 1/2 edition, and adds a second car to its lineup (luxury car). Rumours start about a SUV.


After some thinking. My predictions elseware are quite useless so meh.

The world population will increase by approximately 100,000,000.
